Numbers published at the Pew Forum on the decline of Christianity in America show where we should be focusing our evangelistic efforts,
40% of millennials are "unaffiliated" making them the largest group in need of the Gospel and in need of belonging to the Church. Just think what the next generation will look like if their millennial parents do not raise them in the Church?
I am convinced that the best way to reach this group has to be one on one conversions by a new generation of evangelists and not by holding a Beyonce Mass.
Is your Church making those new evangelists to the millenials?
If not, your extinction is coming.

One problem is that the Gospel has been debased and revised into meaninglessness by the Left which now controls all mainline denominations. Why go to church where the preaching is Progressive baloney and the liturgy is limp. The doctrine of sin has been abandoned. Abortion is a "blessing". Sex is recreational not procreational. STDS and drug overdoses soar. Universal Salvation is the norm, Why go to church if all will be saved in the end anyway?
ReplyDeleteCorrect. Once you do away with sin, you no longer need Jesus and his Church.
DeleteMy millennial daughter has been into two Anglican churches in the greater Washington, DC, area. They really don't know what to do with single women. After she's stood for a while at the coffee hour without being approached, she leaves. She's still a believer, but a silent one.
ReplyDeleteThat is terrible news. Tell her to move to South Carolina!
