Bishop Miller's penultimate question sounds very much like John Shelby Spong and his ilk. And, like Bishop Miller, if this is the path chosen by TEC, I do not choose to follow. I prefer the one, holy, catholic and apostolic faith...the faith of our fathers.

ReplyDeleteThe reality of an entire Christian denomination falling apart at the seams over a dispute about the authority of Scripture is not only scary, it's unbelievable. Perhaps our only option, as suggested in Romans 10:13, is to call upon the Lord to save us. Unlike the crowd at 815, that option still works for me.
