This past week we heard of two incidents of Islamic terror in Europe that were barely mentioned in the American media and the underlying problem with Islam and its sanctioned murder was not mentioned at all. Israel National News gives more details than the U.S. media dared,
The killings of five people in Norway by a man armed with a bow and arrows "appears to be an act of terrorism", the country's security agency said on Thursday, according to a report in Sky News.
Four women and one man were killed during the rampage in the town of Kongsberg. Three people were injured, among them a police officer.
Earlier on Thursday, police chief Ole Bredrup Sæverud said that the terrorist had converted to Islam and was previously known to the police.
Meanwhile, in the U.K., a member of Parliament is slain by another Muslim that the authorities knew was a threat,
The man suspected of killing Sir David Amess attended an official course aimed at 'de-radicalising' him, according to reports.
Suspected lone-wolf terrorist Ali Harbi Ali is thought to have become radicalised online recently.
The 25-year-old is said to have previously been referred to an anti-extremism programme called Prevent, which aims to stop people from going on to become terrorists.
Detectives are probing whether he may have been inspired by al-Shabaab, an offshoot of al-Qaeda in Somalia and Kenya.
Which goes to show you that you can't fix these people. The only cure is for Jesus to pull them out of their Islam induced Hell.
These are just two examples of "The Religion of Peace" at work, sanctioning murder of "infidels".
Jihad Watch, which Wikipedia lists as "a far-right anti-Muslim conspiracy blog" has an up to date list of Islamic terror actions, most of which you would never hear about if you confined your news sources to the main stream media.
I have studied the Quran, and Muslims who follow its words, which supposedly were delivered to Mohammed by an angel, are obligated to kill you, me, and anyone in the media who says a negative word.
That "angel" who spoke to Mohammed had to be Satan himself.
Islam kills, Jesus saves.
Agree entirely.
ReplyDeleteYes, certainly...because every religion should absolutely be charged with everything ever done in its name...now tell me why, please, we Christians should not be judged on the basis of the Crusades, or the ongoing genocide of indigenous peoples, or the constant squabbling over denominational differences that have so often led to murderous conflict, to say nothing of the Salem Witch Trials, the Spanish Inquisition, etc., etc.? And that's just the things so-called Christians instigated in Christ's name...never mind all the times Christians were largely complicit in atrocities (e.g., supporting fascism in Europe). Are you comfortable with others taking the depraved acts of a few sociopaths, together with a few passages taken out of context from a holy text they have never been taught how to interpret properly, and using those to judge YOUR entire religion? If so, carry on, but if not, perhaps you might follow that wise man who once said "remove the log from your own eye, then you might see clearly enough to remove the mote from your neighbor's," or something along those lines...
ReplyDeleteIf you can show me where the New Testament calls for Christians to oppress or murder non-Christians, I'd be interested to see the references.
DeleteI have in my possession a parallel English-Arabic Koran, given to my husband by an employee after the employee's return from the pilgrimage to Mecca. The violent passages in the Koran are there, and are not taken out of context.
Anonymous throws a big red herring out there and avoids the problem with Islam. In defense of Christianity, in the words of the late John Prine, "...Jesus don't like killin, no matter what the reason for...". Mohammed, on the other hand, didn't repeat that kind of message from his angel.
ReplyDeleteTo quote Johnny Cash, "Sooner or later God's gonna...cut'em down..."
ReplyDeleteAnony sounds like the classic TEC Bishop, more than one way ring a bell?
The "hard part" is, that I need the Grace of Jesus Christ just as much as mohommad did. Lord give me the will to receive it...
Many contributors to and editors at Wikipedia evidently didn't get the lessons in elementary school about fact vs. opinion. Maybe those lessons don't exist anymore. When they characterize Jihad Watch as "far-right," they could at least say, "which some observers consider to be a far-right xxx," but no, they state it as fact. And adding citations does not justify the statement-as-fact; it's still the views of the sources in the footnotes. Slipshod.
