Holy Innocents Episcopal Church was destroyed in the fire that wiped out Lahaina this past week, but Maria Lanakila Catholic Church miraculously survived.

I just took a look at the church website. The parish still hosts Latin mass three Sundays in the month, and has a link to something by a formerly Episcopalian author (David Mills), and a March for Life notice from earlier this year. So this might indeed be a sign. I don't see anything negative about the destroyed Episcopal church except that it was still in TEC.
ReplyDeleteIf I wonder if any Hawaiians will convert to Roman Catholicism given this miracle staring them in the face.
DeleteI also wonder how any church that supports abortion can keep the name "Holy Innocents". After all, it is named after the young children killed in Bethlehem by King Herod the Great.
DeleteIt would be wonderful if some converted from atheism and secularism. And good point about Holy Innocents! TEC's long-time support for unlimited elective abortion, and now for child mutilation, are anti-Christian.
